According to a report given from the White Pass and Yukon R.R. Office May 9, sometime between 8 o’clock and midnight four tires, 50-16 size, were stolen from a 1940 Buick which was on a flat car on the White Pass track ready for shipment. A reward was posted $100.00 for the finding of t tires and $150.00 for the conviction of the thief. Tae tires were found Thu vening about 11:45 by Ray Card nd John Burnham in front of the Tank Farm. One tire had been placed in the road and the others in the ditch near ty. The two young men finding the tires are employed at the Tank Farm and change shift at midnight.
