WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14, MRS. GRUENING IS PATRONESS OF BiG NEEDLEWORK SHOW Sponsoring the exhibition of ama- teur needlework to be opened in New York on April 20 by Amateur Needlework of Today, Inc., of which Mrs. William Warner Hoppin i Founder and President, are many well known womsen from dis t states as well as from New York and its environs. The exhibition will benetit the Friendship Fund of the New York Association for the Blin Heading the list, ras Honorary Patronesses, are the wives of twelve Governors, with Mrs. Thomas E. Dewny, the wife of New York's Gov- ernor, as chairman of this group. Included to date are the wives of the Governors of Alaska, Mrs. Ernes Gruening; Idaho, Mrs. C. A. Robins Indiana, Mrs. Ralph F. Gates Maryland, Mrs. William P. Lane,|, Jr.; Massachusetts, Mrs. Robert F. Bradford; Missouri, Mrs. Phil Donnelly; New Jersey, Mrs, Alfr E. Driscoll; Pennsylvania, Mrs. James H. Duff; Texas, Mrs. Beau ford H. Jester; Wyoming, Mrs. L« ter C. Hunt; and Virginia, Mrs. Wil- liam Munford Tuck.
