Van Lanigingham suf- fered a heart attack yesterday af- ternoon and passed away at St Ann's Hospital at 4 o'clock. Van Laningham was stricken while at work in Don Abels’ Carpenter Shop. He went first to his home where Dr. C. C. Carter was call- ed and was then taken immediately to the hospital. Dr. Carter diag- nosed his condition as coronary thrombosis. Van wsanmngham, who is survived by his wife Ruby, has made his home in Juneau for about three months. At the time of his death he was 53 years of age and was born in Vesta, Nebraska. He is survived in Juneau by his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joe R.
