Upon arrival in Skagway they were met by a committee of Chamber of Commerce members |who took over the program from that time on until late |the night, a good time was the visitors. About 6 o'clock all visitors and Chamber of Commerce members planning to attend the banquet were invited to the Elks Lodge for cocktails. A banquet, was given at tlh g way Grill and the Vgncouver men were introduced to local Chamber members. The visitors made some very interesting talks regarding their trip and its objectives. As outlined, the purpose of the trip will take the party to the Peace River country, Yukon Territory and Alaska where the delegates would be given an opportunity to study transportation matters first hand and to survey the possibilities general business development in the north.
