'FUNDS FOR ROADS (UT 20 PERCENT DECLARES TAYLOR Ike P. Tayior, Chief Engineer of the Alaska Road Commission, to- day explained that yesterday's As- sociated Press news of a highway appropriation for Alaska means that the Territory’s budget has been cut approximately 20 percent. Taylor said that the figures ap- proved by the House Appropriations Committee are about $500,000 less than those okayed previously by the U. S. Bureau of the Budget.
