The Marine Bulletin, as it is com- monly called by Alaskans, is an ACS free service which makes available a complete list of known departure times and ports of call of ships engaged in Alaskan traffic. When a ship departs from port, the ACS station at the port dis- patches a radiogram to all ports of call of the ship where there is an ACS station, announcing the departure time and the next port of call. The bulletins as received are furniched to local newspapers and are also posted on the ACS bulletin boards.
