NORTHWEST Membership List of New Group Reveals Little Changed But Name Wage stabilizatior, regulations and their enforcement are now be- ing administered fin Northwest and Alaska by the Twelfth Regional Wage Stabilization Board, with headquarters in Seattle This new agency a part of the National Wage Stabilization Board set up within the Department of Labor to carry out provisions of the Wage Stabilization Act which were formerly administered by the National War Labor Board, it was stated here today by the Alaska Representative of NWSB, D. E. Davis John B. McCourt, torney and former vice-chairman of the regional WLB, is chairman of the new (ripartite regional board which also will take over the wage stabilization functions formerly carried out by the West Coast Lumber Commission of the NWLB John D. Galey, of Portland, form- erly chairman of the lumber com- mission, has been appointed vice- chairman of the new board, and as a public member, part time, to serve on stabilization cases within the lumber industry. Regular labor members of the new regional board are Capt. John Fox, CIQ and James Rohan, AFL. Alternates are: Charles W. Vaih- busch, AFL, and James Farmer, CIO. All four men are from Seattle. De- partment of Labor, as was done un- cer procedures of the old War La- kor Board.
