Uberti is survived by his wife and two daughters, Emma and Bluette of Seattle, and another daughter, Yolanda, residing in Texas, and one son, Albert, who is in the U. S. Army Air Corps in the Sauth Pacific theatre. Deceased came to Douglas in the early Treadwell days and was a prominent business man for many years, owning the Uberti Hotel and bar and many other properties. He retired from business after the Treadwell cave-in, and only re- cently returned to active work, his latest employment being on the staff of the Baranof Hotel in Juneau. He was a long-time member of the Eagles Lodge in Douglas, and active in civic affairs. Hajdukovich was born in Monte- negro, now a part of Yugoslavia, and came to Fairbanks in 1905. He was part owner of the Model Cafe, owned two apartment houses and several store buildings. Surviving are two children who are being cared for at the C lie Miller home, and several relatives in Europe. N Hajdukovich died in Juneau about a year ago.
