The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Laughlin, well-known pioneers of Douglas and Juneau, he was born in Douglas, April 11, 1896, and was single at the time of his death. He is survived by two brothers, Roscoe, of Auk Bay and Juneau, and Matt, of Tyee, and one sister, Mrs. Virginia Michael of Seattle. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made, pending word from his brother in Tyee and his sister.
