E. Krause, and stayed for 20 years. She and Mr. Ahlers were married in 1928. In 1935 they purchased the Ril and Ahlers Company, which they = ‘(pernled until the first of this year. They have sold their building at - Third and Franklin to Messrs. Jack R. Clark and B. E. Feero, who now operate a plumbing and beating business at the same location, known as Juneau Plumbing and Heating Company. The Ahlers now have no interest in this business. | Mrs. Ahlers says: “I know I'll | never, keep John out of Alaska. He !loves it, and i'm betting that as soon as we get settled in our new home, ke'll take the first plane back.” It !is necessary for Mrs. Ahlers to re- Imain south for medical attention and more sunshine due to arthritis which is crippling her hands.
