Each club collected six hits. Allowing only four hits, Guy Fletcher pitched the Sacramento Solons to a 1-0 win over the Los Angeles Pacific Coast League club. The win was the Solons’ third straight over the Angels. Youthful Alex Palica, hurler for the Seattle Rainiers, went the route to post his third victory of the season and keep the Rainiers atop the league standings with a 5 to 1 win over the Hollywood Stars. The long end count last night gave the Rainiers a two to one game lead in the series. The Portland Beavers, behind the pitching of submarine tosser Ad Liska, beat out the San Francisco Seals, 7 to 4. The victory kept the Beavers right in pace with Seattle on the top rung eof the Pacific Coast League ladder.
