GAMES WEDNESDAY Pacific Coast League INOCULATIONS FOR WHOOPING (OUGH BEGIN NEXT WEEK May 17, 24 and 31 have been set aside by Dr. C. C. Carter, Territorial Health Commissioner and Juneau Health Officer, as the dates for whooping cough inoculations. The immunizations will be given during the regular clinic hours on the specified dates at the Health Center in the Territorial Building. Given in three separate doses, the inoculations should be administered PAGE FIVE to infants as soon after the age of six months as possible, ds this disease seems to have &’ more severe effect on small babiés. Thé inocula- tions, ‘given a weth apart, do not give 100 percent protection, but it makes for lighter cases.
