[ ———e — l BLAZE DESTROYS SUMMERHOME OF | JAMES C. COOPER Fire, breaking out about 12:30 ESunday morning, razed the Fritz Cove Road home of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Cooper. Although the cause is not definitely known, the fire is believed to have started in| the chimney, spreading rapidly through the one and a half story frame structure. Mr. Cooper had been on the premises during the day, but had returned to town,| thinking the fire in the stove was | out, but evidently it had cominued: to smolder in the chimney. ! The house was purchased from | Elizabeth Parker, and had under-| gone extensive repairs and modern- | ization by the Coopers. Insurance partially covered the loss. | e THE DAILY ALASKA EMPIRE—JUNEAU, ALASKA As Seen in Vogue PUPPY LOVE DRESSES to make you look like sugar and spice and all things nice by your favorite designer, ¥ $ 95 Trudy Hall.
