She had been a resi- {dent of Juneau for many years, and Mr. Wil- \lard, who died several years ago, was a lay minister for the Presby- |terian Board of Missions, and was assisted in the work by his wife. In addition to Mrs. Hayes, sur- vivors include another daughter, Mrs. Margaret Shotter of Sitka, a brother, Jcseph Edwards, of Kla- wak; niece, Mrs. Jennie Klavot of eight grandchildren, Eu- gene King, Charles and Richard, Daisy, Ernest, Albert, Ida and Max- ine Hayes.
