Bucy weré dis- tributed to dinner guests last eve- ning at the Distin' Avenue home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hellan, telling of the engagement of the young couple. The announcements were given by petite Julie Hudson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Hud- son, who was dressed in bridal at- tiré for the occasion. Twenty-five guests were asked for the buffet-supper. Table decora- tions were carried out in a bridal motif, with a huge bowl of pan- sies forming a centerpiece offset by white tapers and a tiny bride and groom. Following dinner other guests joined the party and the evening was spent playing pinochle and bridge. PAGE TWO 1 | / 3 Hudson assisted Mrs. Hellan dur- ing the affair.
