NO ADMISSION Donations Will Be Accepted The Juneau Rotary Club branch of “Bundles for Britain” is trying to make a small contribution to the cause of freedom: We say a ‘“‘small contribu- tion,” for the need is so great it seems almost be- yond our comprehension, and if we contribute to the:full measure of our ability, to the point of sacrifice and beyond, it will be too little. f We have already sent one thousand dollars in cash to New York to be used to purchase surgical® instruments, hospital and medical supplies and equipment for the sorely pressed, overcrowded, hospitals of London, nearly all of which have been bombed and burned and partially destroyed by Hit- ler’s new methods of warfare where most-of the casualties are among civilians; the aged and in- firm, the women and children, the sick and the helpless. Juneau has adopted'as the object of its contributions the Woolrich Memorial Hospital, which has been several times badly damaged by bombs with great loss of life and ‘destruction of equipment, supplies and facilities. A number of residents of Juneau and vicinity are making regular monthly payments. There has not been and will not be one cent deducted for Exclusive Si or shuts of M'P»arsons Eleetrie: Company | ; — | COMMISSIONER Jack Likins, Former scoutmaster !of the American Legion troop, was appointed District Scout Commis- sioner for the Juneau District to- day, according to Wellman Hol- | brook, chairman of the nominating committee. | Bill Cooper, co-scoutmaster with |the American Legion troop, will | continue as head of the troop.
