Attired in .gray caps and gowns, the students ascended to the stage with members of the School Board and a representative of the ministry, as Director C. Robert White led the. High School band in the play- ing of the processional “Field of ‘Honor March.” Gray draperies form- | ed a background for the class and a huge 41 was offset by green fern- ery arrangement on the platform. Named Valedictorian | Miss Doris McEachran was nam- | ed valedictorian of the class and was presented with the trophy of| honor to which her name will be added to these of valedictorians of | the previous years. Miss McEachran | received a year's subscription to the| Reader’s Digest and was also pre-| sented with a school plaque for out- standing participation in extra-cur-| ricular activities. Miss Isabel Parsons, who rated| second in scholastic standards, was given the honor of salutaterian. She was also presented with a school plaque for her work as associate edi- tor of the school publications.
