The geatest amount of precipitation was 12 inches which was recorded at Kodiak. Temperatures above nor- nal were recorded over most of Alaska. The lowest femperature this morning was minus 8 degrees, which was recohded at Barrow Overcast skies with local showers, moderately low ceilings and good visibilities were reported this morning over the Juneau-Ket- chikan airways. The Saturday morning weather chart indicated that a low pres- sure center of 966 millibars (28,53 inches) was located at 57 degrees north and 156 degrees west. A second low center of 975 millibars (2879 inches) was located at 48 degrees north and 164 d 5 and a third low center of 920 millibars (2923 inches) 38 N s north, 132 degrees west. A high pressure arca was centered | Qg over the Rocky Mountain country of the United States, with a high crest extending nonhwcstwml into the southeastern interior portion of Alaska.
