HO"VWOOd Sights And Sourds By Robbia Cooms st HOLLYWOOD, €al.; Dec. 11-~For an index to the off-screen character of Eddie: Albeyt, consider the fact that he is now cport- ing a beautiful set of plain, old-fashioned boils. Eddie, qnaybe ygn didn't know, has a medicine man. brought him back from one of his jaunts into Mexico. him in Chihuahua, werking with herbs. Eddie is crazy about herbs. . This medicine, the medicine man ‘said, had long been used down theve as a quick cure for one of those diseases which only recently has been pentioned in polite cireles. Eddie; with a streak of Dr. Ehrlich in his make-up, brought him ito Hellywood to perfeet 'the remedy and see what could be done about it Eddie Found Nothing to worry about, he says cheerfuly. The medicine man .assured him this is merely part of the remedy’s blood- purifying action. ' Eddie thinks maybe the medicine alréady has been outmoded by ‘laten-discoveries he’s read about - but then the medicine man has;a perpetual motion invention, too. “Maybe something’ll come of that,” says Eddie. “Wouldn't it be funnjy Tt would, but it all gives a pretty good idea of what Eddie Albert does with the money he earns in pictures, He doesn't talk about it, but right now he's backing as professor who is writing a serious work on economics. - He thinks having an actor’s PERCY'S CAFE RCYS €AF) sToP AT PERCY'S CAFE Breakfast, ‘Dinner ‘or Light Lun DELICIOUS FOOD en Y * FOUNTAIN SERVICE ¥ p * REFRESHMENTS nected, even in.a.small way, ditcpedit it somewbat .
