A delegate from the Juneau Aux- |iliary, Mrs. McCormick attended the two-day conference of Depart- § dents and Secretaries of | 2 ment P the American Legion Auxiliary hald in Indianapolis, October 18 and 19. The annual conference was presided cver by Mrs. Doris Corwith, newly elected National President, and was attended by 51 Department Presi dents and ‘40 Departtment Secretar- ies. This year’'s meeting was the| largest to date and Mrs. McCormick had the distinction of being appoint- | ed to the Resolutions Committee, the only committee selected at the conference. While in the south, Cormick visited with relatives in Walla Walla, Wash., and in the Middle Western States and spent | soome time visiting Mrs. M. E.
