Mr. Carlson was born in Sweden in 1874 and had never been natur- alized. He came to Alaska in 1912 and once worked as 4 tanner. Later he fished and worked in the mines. He had been in poor health for the last few years. Carlson was single and had 1o known relatives. The body is at the Charles W. Carter Mortuary. Fun- eral arrangements will be announced Monday.
