The occasion was her thirteenth birthday and the supper table was in keeping with the theme. Following supper Miss Gregory's guests attended th e movies. Those invited were Misses Mar+ ian Cass, Lorraine Johnson, Jane and Susan Williams and Nathalie Savovich. DOUGLAS NEWS NEW FACULTY MEMBERS FOR DOUGLAS ARE HERE Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Poole, the former, new ° superintendent of Douglas Public Schools, 'arrived here on the Alaska last evening and were today getting settled tem- porarily at least, for the opening of school next Tuesday. Mr. Poole is not new to Alaska, having taught the past three years at Nome. He came originally from near Spokane, and taught in vari- ous schools in Washington.
