The second place Angels, thanks to the rain at Portland, triumphed over Hollywood last night and thereby cut the Rainier’s lead to seven games. Hollywood replaced Oakland in the basement. ! Oakland chased San Francisco ,down a notch in third place posi- tion by taking the game last night and Sacramento moved up a notch toward third spot by defeating San Diego.
