At 8:45 o'clock this morn- ing he took Mr. and Mrs. E. L Crawford of Salem, Ore, and Bob Henning of The Empire staff to Lake Hasselborg in his Bellanca monoplane, where they will spend a week fishing. At Hasselborg, Sim- mons picked up a group of men and flew them to Hood Bay where they will catch the North Sea, en- route South. This group included George Allen, John R. Solyer, Leigh- ton P.
