Congress authorized the Presi- dent to name six administrative as- sistants to aid him in the reorgan- ization setup. The three men named are Lauch- lin Currie, of the Federal Reserve Board; William McReynolds, of the Treasury Department, and White House Secretary James Rowe. White House officials explained that the appointments will not need the confirmaion of the Senate. Com-| missioner Felix Gray when the| Highway resident pleaded guilty to| a charge of driving while drunk. Glenn's or, Lucy (Ti Stage of Seattle, who was with him in the automobile when it left the road, was fined $25 for drunk- enness, to which charge she also pleaded guilty. Mrs, Stage originally was charged with drunken driving along with Glenn, as beth claimed they were driving when they were o sted in the shambles of the car by Deputy U. 8. Marshal Walter Hel- lan. When the automobile then teetered close to the outer shoulder, Glenn gave the wheel a spin in the opposite direction and the machine left the road at right angles and start- ed up the hillside.
