Steamer Baranof of the Alaska Steamship Company sailed for Southeast and Southwest Alaska ports at 10:15 o'clock last night with 156 first class and 140 steerage passengers aboard. Passengers booked for Juneau in- clude the following: W. H. Cameron and wife, A. Bra- ton, Annabelle Simpson, Minnie Goldstein, Duncan McLean, A, P. Brewer. Mrs. E. L. Margaret Johnson. - e PRINCE RUPERT DUE HERE AT 6; MANY TOURISTS Canadian National steamer Prin Rupert, making her first voyage on the Southeast Alaska route for this season, is due in Juneau tonight at 6 o'clock with 145 tourists aboard, including the Bagley party of 57. Neil MacLean is captain of che Prince Rupert and Purser Evans is again aboard in his position which he has made popular with the trav- eling public. TYEE CANNERY HEAD VISITS H. A. Stephanus, Superintendent of the Sebastian - Stuart cannery at Tyee, is stopping at Juneau on a brief business call, coming in on the tender Fish Hawk for the first time this year. Stephanus says the two-line plant at Tyee will continue to pack in one pound talls, and he anticipates a normal season when the fishing in his area opens July o Biggest disappointment in Juneau for Stephanus was the unfinished small boat harbor. “You have to spend so much time moving your boat around here, you haven't time for any busi- ness,” he said. He is a guest at the Baranof Ho- tel and will probably go out to the cannery again tomorrow.
