BARROW SEATTLE, June 8.—Plans for es- tablishment of a new service to Far Northern ports including Point Bar- row, well within the Arctic Circle, are being made with the Pacific American Fisheries steamer Red- wood slated as the ship which will handle it. Capt. Alex Olsen, who is negotiating for her purchase, had the vessel drydocked for survey at the Lake Union Drydock and Ma- chine Works and it is believed that the deal will go through since con- siderable cargo already has been tentatively booked. Included is a single lot of 400 tons to be delivered to the cooperative ¢ stare owned by the natives at Point Barrow and which will be furnished through the Office of Indian Affairs here.
