Rain WEATHER SYNOPSIS Low barometric pressure continued this morning from the Tan- ana and upper Yukon valleys south-southwestward to Kodiak Island and southward to latitude 40 degrees and between the 140th and 165th meridians, with a storm area centered over the Pacific Ocean at latitude 51 degrees and longitude 150 degrees where a pressure of 20.00 inches prevailed. The barometric pressure was above' nor- mal from Southeast Alaska southward to Oregon with a crest of 30:22 inches at Kamloops. The pressure was also high over the Aleutians, the Bering Sea region, and over the Alaskan Arctic coast. Precipitation has been general along the coastal regions from Unalaska southeastward to Prince Rupert, also over the Kuskok- wim and lower Yukon valleys. Elsewhere over the field of obser- vation generally fair weater was reported. Unseasonably coo: weather continued over the Aleutians and Ber- ing Sea region.
