Karnes Commissioner of Education. Mr. Wahto arrived here the first of the week from Kasaan where he has been teaching. The Kasaan school has been closed due to lack of pupils. Construction of a new school building at Fish Creek is a fine achievement for that community, the Commissioner said. The resi- dents furnished the logs and did all the work, the Board of Education furnishing such other material as was necessary.
