Melt fat in skillet. First brown pineapple rings in skillet, then brown ham patties. Place a ring of pineapple on each ham pattie. NOODLE CASSEROLE 1 pound broad % pound grated noodles Amer, cheese % pound ground 1 small onion, beef minced 1 can tomatoes salt and pepper Brown the meat and onion in a skillet with plenty of fat. Boil noodles in salted water. Drain noodles, blanch and return to the kettle in which they were cooked. Add tomatoes, meat, onions and seasonings. Simmer together for about half an hour, adding water as needed and stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. Just before re- moving from the fire add the grat- ed cheese. Place noodles in a cas- serole.
