Taking his subject from the 17th Chapter of St. John, Dean C. E. Rice, in his farewell message to the Douglas High School graduating class delivered at the baccalaureate services held yesterday afternoon in the Episcopal church, spoke on the “Knowledge of God.” “Childhood ideas of God are fun- damentally true but like the fun- damental lessons learned in kin- dergarten—while true, as you learn more about them you lose your childhood views and have differ- ent and more mature ideas,” said 4 the speaker. Dishaw, contractor, for Joe Rie- di, are being rushed today in order that the establishment may be in complete readiness for the grand opening which is being planned for tomorrow night. The opening is to be included in the joint affair sponsored by the ' |PFeusi & Jensen Hardware Com- | {pany and the Goetz Grocery. | The new Riedi building is a stuc- co frame affair, modern in every respect with new barroom fixtures, including a thoroughly up-to-date bar. Floyd L.
