The Commander will be in reneral charge with the various units formed under sub-leaders so hat the greatest dispatch would result in the event of another dis- ister or major trouble in the com- munity. Commander William O. Johnson named a committee of George Pen- | iny, A, E. Karnes and Frank Met- | calf to handle organization and to confer with city officials in setting up the program. It was stressed that it is not the purpose of the Legion to interfere with delegated authority but to organize so that it |can be of greatest service when called upon. f Matter of repairing and perhaps enlarging the Dugout was turned over to the Executive Committee which is authorized to obtain esti- mates and proceed with the build- ing program. It is propesed to get a loan throug hthe Federal Housing Administration and building an ad- dition on the rear is being consid- ered as well as making other needed repairs. - - CARD OF THANKS We extend our thanks and grati- tude to every one for their words and acts of sympathy and kindness during the death and funeral of our beloved wife and mother, Mrs. Cora Erickson.
