A steep barometric pressure gradient existed this morning along the coast between Cross Sound and Dixon Entrance, atended by southeast gales along the co: from the vicinity of Yakutat southward to Vancouver Island. Precipitation was reported along the coastal regions from the Aleutians southeastward to British Columbia while fair weather pre- vailed over the interior and western pumons of Alaska.
