AL JONES ENLARGES {ANCHORAGE CANNERY; NAMES NEW FOREMAN Emil Harlacher will be the fore- man of the. Kustatan Packing Company at Anchorage starting on January 1, it was announced recent- ly by Al Jones, owner, according to the Anchorage Times, Harlacher has been foreman of the Emard Packing Company for the last six years and in the packing business for 18 years. He succeeds Ray Spurgeon who retired as fore- man to engage in mining in the Willow Creek country. Jones said a 60-foot extension at his dock would be built next spring to provide for a new fish house and the capacity of the plant would »e increased to two tall lnes.
