Two freighters are operating along the Arctic coast and the supplies will be taken to the stricken villages, where the need is great- est, by these vessels, it was veport- | ed by the Governor’s office. | In the meantime supplies are being dispatched from Seattle to be transfered to the North Star, which is making the Arctic run, and are expected to be there around the first of September. There will be adequate stores in this shipment to care for any emergency which might arise among the 500 inhabi- tants of the Arctic coast, it is re- ported.
