WEATIER SYNOPSIS The barometric pressure continued low this morning over most of Alaska, the lowest reported p: ure being 29.50 inches near Chig- nik. High barometric pressure prevailed from Southeast Alaska southwestward to the Hawaiian and Midway Islands. This general pressure distribution has been attended by precipitation along the coastal regions fro mthe Aleutians southeastward to British Colum- bia. Heavy rains were reported alcng the coastal regions between Kodiak and Prince Rupert. Fair weather prevailed over the inter- ior, western and northern portions of Alaska.
