Grimmett lived with Olson aboard the boat Griffith, beached near the Islander, and the pair trapped and fished in addition to their regular duties. Grimmett had resided in the vi- cinity of Juneau for about four years, and is survived by a daughter and three sons in West Virginia. A telegram was sent today to the daughter, Mrs. Ethel M. Ellison of Logan, W. Va., informing her of the death.
