Miss Davis and Miss Dane left the ship at Kotzebue. A shipboard romance developed on the northbound voyage and Miss Davis, whose home is in Wenatchee, Wash- ington, and Reuben Jacobsen, third mate of the North Star, were married at Kotzebue on September 21.
