In recent seasons, attempts to present Shakespeare have met with only half- hearted success. Devotees of the Elizabethan, genius, however, now appear to have come into their own as several more screen productions of Shakespeare are listed to appear in the near future. Shakespeare is having a mighty revival this current dramatic season, judging by the number of pro- ductions, both on stage and screen, of plays by the Bard of Avon. Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne are co-stars of the Theater Guild’s production of “The Taming of the Shrew”.
