Miss Lucile Pepoon, coach for the girls, plans to have two prac- tices a week, on Mondays and Thurs- days at 4:40 p.m. and she would like to have Alumfiae players or other town girls join them for scrimmage practice. A communication was recently re- ceived from Skagway High School negotiating for a trip to the Channel to play the Douglas High School boys and intimating that they would also bring a girls' team if games for them could be arranged. e —— COUNCIL MEETING Regular meeting of the Douglas City Council postponed from last Friday will be held this evening in +all &t 7:30 o'clock. > MR.
