V. Hickey has been authorized as a temporary carrier until such time as the regular service is started. | Schedule for the mail run, known as Route 278025, calls for two round | trips daily and one on Sunday. The deliveries will leave Juneau at 9:30 'am. and 3 pm. on week days and 10 a.m. on Sundays. | Bids on the service will be received at the Postmaster’s office, 104 Fed- leral Building, until 2 p.m., Novem- | ber 4. No written contract with bond 'is required, but the proposals must be made on a yearly rate basis. Original bids for the carrying of the Douglas-Juneau mails were thrown out in the National Capital on a technicality, Wile says, and therefore he has been authorized to award the temporary carrying to | Hickey until such a time as the new 'award is made. e e Daily Empire Want Ads Pay!
