Jane Darwell, as Kelly’s wife, shares honors with him and Andy Clyde. George Barbier is cast in the rcle of a millionaire, and Howard Wilson contributes a capable per- formance in. .a ] minor, role, “Mc- Fadden’s "Flats” ‘was" directed by Ralph Murphy. “THE GILDED LlLY” NOW AT CAPITOL “The Gilded Lily,” starring Clau- dette Colbert, which is now showing at the Capitol Theatre, is an unusual comedy about a pretty girl who wants to be a hard-working wife of a poor man. Fred MacMurray and Ray Milland play supporting roles. MacMurray is cast as a reporter and Miss Colbert as an obscure sten- ographer who celebrate a regular Thursday night date by sitting on a park bench and munching popcorn while they watch the world go by. Milland plays the part of a young English nobleman, visiting the Unit- ed States incognito. The cast also includes C. Aubrey $mith, Edward Craven, Donald Meek, Grace Bradley and Michelette Burani. J., Oct. 24— Leo Frank and Otto German, members of the Dutch Schultz gang, were slain by gangsters in the Newark Tavern last night. Schultz Flegenheimer, gang leader and former beer paron, was: critically wounded. Bernard Rosencratz, chauf- feur, was also injured. Another member of the gang, Martin Krom- pier, was shot while waiting on front of a barber shop. Police guards patrol the hospital today to prevent any further at- tempts at killing the former beer baron by his enemies. Officers are hunting for Albert Sterin, suspected killer, also wanted for the hatchet killing yesterday of Louie Amberg, Brooklyn gangster,} and the slaying a year ago of a Brocklyn policeman, MINISTER'S BODY FOUND SEATTLE, Oct. 24.—The body of Rev.
