It was announced that due to limited space, no further ad- mittance can be made to the annual affair which each year draws larg- er crowds. Forty-six women, prominent in the social life of Juneau, have been enrolled as “mothers-for-the-day,” and will be on hand with daughters whom they have adopted for the occasion. The luncheon is given in honor of high schoel and eighth grade girls of the public and par- ochial schools of Juneau, who are to be entertained by their mothers. Mrs. C. N. Crone, assisted by a competent committee, will have charge of the kitchen, and under her direction a delightful luncheon has been planned. A bevy of younger matrons of the town will be in charge of the serv- ing Mrs. G. V. Goss will be toastmis- tress, and Mrs. Genevieve Van Dug- teren will be at the piano for the 'S | community singing between courses. | A program will be rendered at the pearance and she left on the North-| conclusioh of the luncheon.
