Davis, , sept. 9.— U. S. N, fheed of the Naval Inquest Board. lannounged that a coroner’s autopsy disclosed that seaman R. L. Grint- er, 20, whose body was found in Elliott Bay near Seattle on August 30, was dead before his body was placed in the water. The autopsy was reported to have disclosed that there were marks of a blow on Grinter's head. The matter has been referred to the King County Prosecutor, War- ren G. Magnuson. FREIGHTER FLOATED AFTER BEING ASHORE SEATTLE, Sept.. 9. — Freighter Harry Luckenbach' which ran ashore early last Saturday morning on the Island, while enroute ‘to Tacdoma, was floated at high tide in the af- ternoon by the Goliath.
