However, this year's cruise is a bit different, George Buchanan, De- troit philanthropist, has six girls along with him, as well as the usu- ally large number of boys. There are 49 persons in the par- ty. The scheme of financing is the same as in previous years. The young travellers pay ome-third the expense themselves by thrift meas- ures during the school year; par- ents pay one-third; and Buchanan furnishes the balance. Alding Buchanan in the manage- ment of this tour is Mrs. Sadie Buchanan, his brother’s wife who is a resident of New Westminister, B. C. Also with the party is a niece, Miss Margaret Buchanan, Thamesville, Ont: “THE WHITE PARADE” OPENS AT CAPITOL “The Movie Parade,” which op- ens at the Capitol Theatre to- night, is the story of a modern training school for nurses, and is the 'first film produced on the phase of the production, “The White Parade” is dedicated to the memory of Florence Nightingale, founder of modern nursing.
