WEATHER S YNOPSIS High barometric pressure continued this morning from Barrow southward to California, the crest being 30.70 inches at Barrow. A storm area of marked intensity was centered over the southern Ber- ing Sea, the lowest reported pressure being 28.70 inches. This gen- eral pressure distribution has been accompanied by light precipitation ‘over western Washington and Oregon, over the southern Bering Sea and eastward along the North Pacific Coast region, Unalaska to Cor- dova. Elsewhere over Alaska fair weather prevailed.
