High pressure prevailed from Juneau scuth- 'd to Oregon, the crest being 30.60 inches a short distance west of Vencouver Island. This general pressure’ distribution has been at- tended by rains along the ‘coastal region from Kodiak to Ketchikan and by fair weather from Prince Rupert southward to California Generally fair weather prevailed over the interior of Alaska.
