George Skarbo, have been brought here for service, it was announced today by L. G. Wingard, Alaska Agent of the United States Bureau of Fisheries, who came back from Seattle on the former vessel. The Brant will cover the''Ju- neau district and the Blue Wing has been sent to Wrangell to ‘aid in the West Coast, Wrangell and Ketchikgn - districts. Mr. Wingard “ plahs to leave here by plane this week for Prince William Sound and Bristol Bay to make a similar study_there. Warden Fpred Lucas, in charge of the Alaska Peninsula district, was aboard the Blue Wing and will remain here for sometime doing statistical work in headquarfers of the bureau. He reported a total pack in his district of some 800,- 000 cases of fish. This is well above the average for the area. The es- capement, he said, was excellent.
