Gross, Mrs. E. G. Hooker, Miss Hermia Bilbo, H. J Grubb, D. A. Hoffman, Miss Mon- ica Ulrich. DOUBLE OF OLE THE EAGLE FOUND DEAD SUNDAY AFTERNOON | tion was aroused Sunday after- noon when a young eagle of much the same description as Ole, the Owl Cab Company mascot, was dis- covered dead on the highway 18 miles out of town, shot through the head. It was believed for a time wm that the eagle was Ole. It is now thought that the de- funct bird may be one of Ole’s brothers or sisters, or a cousin at Jeast. In order to save the feelings of Ole, who was returned to his perch at the cab company office yesterday afternoon, he has not yet been told about the discovery, as it is feared that in his present nervous condition resulting from his harrowing experience of being abducted, the information might cause a complex of some sort in his chhclogmal make-up. e DISCOVER RICH ORE by the Alaska Exploration and, Mining Company on their quartz: property there.
