The increase was all in area three, which lies west of Cape Spencer. The take of the current season the same date last year. The Au- gust catch was 5,831,685 pounds. The catch from season was as follows: fleet, 13,320,528 poinds; fleet, 8,851,075 pounds. Last year the same area showed: American feet 14,838,881; Canadian fleet, 7,- 623,186 pounds.
